I LOVE S.C.O.U.T! Hands down my favourite character. I really do like the premise of the story, so it would have been nice to have gone a little deeper into character development because I do genuinely like the characters you meet in the story. You have the main story mode and then once you complete each chapter (depending on which grade you get overall), you 'unlock' S.C.O.U.T's memories and have extra puzzles to complete as and when you choose.

Easy will help those who aren't too confident with the game and will auto-fill completed lines when you are done and alert you to most mistakes, whereas normal mode, you have to rely on point-deducting hints. There are two difficulty settings, Easy and Normal. It's a pretty casual, short-ish story and an easy read, with only a few components to progress the story, which is perfect for those who want a casual game. I will say, if you're not a fan of Picross, I would potentially give it a miss because it will get quite repetitive and can be quite tedious. I'm a fan of Picross so to have it combined with a story (and a murder-mystery one at that) gives the game a little more depth than just sitting and doing a regular picross puzzle. Really great combination of casual murder-mystery visual novel and Picross.
